Tablescape Inspiration

Our Holiday Open House is today and tomorrow at the Shops at 9th Avenue in Denver, so we thought it was the perfect time to share some holiday tablescape inspiration! The season of large family gatherings is quickly approaching, and for us, the table settings and decor are always the most important (and fun) part. Here is a roundup of a few of our favorite table setting ideas this season.

Happy tablescaping, everyone!

Colorado Homes & Lifestyles was kind enough to feature our house in their November issue--all about table settings! We went with warm & welcoming, simple & organic.

Our friend Jeanne Oliver just posted a beautiful blog post about holiday tablescape ideas. All of her pictures and ideas are amazing! We can always rely on Jeanne for the best inspiration. Check out her blog post here. (All photos by Jeanne!)

Swedish stylist Hans Blomquist has been doing some amazing work for H&M Home this year, including beautiful tablescapes! He gives that perfect combination of whimsy, rustic, and festive perfect for holiday gatherings.

Amsterdam-based interior designer Desiree also just wrote a beautiful blog post about Autumn table styling, all about dark & warm colors and simplicity. This style would pair so well with some rustic antique chairs and beautiful pine farm table! Sometimes minimalism is the most beautiful! After all, "simplify, simplify, simplify" is our holiday motto around here. Read her whole post here. (Photos from her blog, of her own collected inspiration.)

Okay, so we may be on a Swedish kick here. But rustic country homes in Sweden are just overflowing with incredible design inspiration! Swedish blogger and photographer Carina Olander (of Made in Persbo) just posted a tour of a Swedish home, and the tablescape is just as great as the rest of the house. It is casual, simple, and rustic. The combination of antique white chairs, a beautiful old table, and other vintage & antique details create an overall sense of warmth and welcoming. And we also had to include a photo of that incredible cupboard and the way it is styled...endless inspiration!

Carina also posted another home tour on her blog of a Swedish country home, again with beautiful styling. We love the hanging apples idea...and that bench covered in pillows! Check out the rest of the post here
